The pairing here is Lacey Rawlins and John Grady. This was the movie. Not the book. Really, I don't see the slash in *every* movie I watch. Just...a lot of them. Besides, Matt Damon is one of the most slashable humans on the planet. Am-Chau betaed me, the sweet thing. So did Min. This story would not be half as good as it is without her.
