The President opened the window and stood silently with his eyes closed, breathing loudly.
Charlie came in and waited patiently by the President's desk. A few minutes passed, and he went to stand next to him, taking in the President's standing and manner. Charlie closed his eyes too, and grasped his hands behind his back, breathing deeply in time with the President.
He didn't really get what they were doing, standing out in the brisk April morning, feeling the breezeway live up to its name. But Charlie had learned that when the President did something, it was often for a reason, and a good one at that, so he waited until the President would inform him of what, exactly, they were doing a foot from the nearest flowerbed, standing silent and still in the approaching morning.
After awhile, he felt the President's hand pat his shoulder, and he opened his eyes to see one of the President's rare blinding smiles.
"It's spring, Charlie!" he said joyfully, clapping Charlie on the back and walking back inside. "Let's get to work!" Charlie smiled, and trailed after him.

What are they which are but ten?
Ten statutes God to Moses gave
Which, kept or broke, do spill or save.
